February 8, 2008 Since the forum seems to be permanently off-line for whatever reason, I've started a facebook site for the novel. Go there. Friend us. Send your friends. We need all the exposure we can get. :) On another note, character images for Dran and Taidasha have finally been completed and added to the book one images page. Enjoy! |

February 01, 2008 Well, after months of creative stagnation I finally got back in the swing of things. I've been updating my Livejournal (username klethrossk), Facebook and Myspace (username elsalvato) with daily sketches and dedicating a few hours each day to drawing, sketching or even painting. I now have a Youtube account (http://www.youtube.com/user/svirgilio) and I'm making videos of screen captures during my drawing sessions in Photoshop. I've been busy these past few days! Busier in fact than I've been in the past six months. If you fans want to see the sketches and videos, feel free to friend me on any of those blog/network contacts. In the future I plan to use such contacts to create commissioned work, and all Auli-related work will go directly towards the funding for our self-publishing venture! |

October 6, 2007 Just got a scanner, so I was finally able to scan in some old images of some of the villains and put them up in the Book One images section. We're currently working on a major re-write for Book One, because we're concerned about the pacing and suspense in the first three chapters. Once we've finished the re-write we'll be giving it to a few select beta-testers who've read the first version - if they like version two better, that's what we'll be going with. As soon as we've determined that, I'll be contacting a print-on-demand publisher. |

June 15, 2007 I added a tagboard to the index, as you can see to the right. Why? I was bored... and procrastinating working on something else. |

March 1, 2007 The illustrations for book one are finally complete! Looking back I realize these drawings range from 3 years old to a few I finished this week. Interesting. Projects on the horizon: an Auli encyclopedia, calendar, and limited edition prints I hope to have available for sale right here. Updates as they happen. |
